I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. It has been a long 3 weeks. The benefits are decent. Did it backfire?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
