How much room is there after an offer? (Honolulu)

I received an offer as a janitorial supervisor and I think the pay is a little low. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did it backfire?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
