How much room is there after an offer? - first time posting

I received an offer as a dental hygienist and I think the pay is a little low. Any experience at all would help. The hiring manager was friendly and open.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
