How much room is there after an offer? - first time posting

I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The hiring manager was friendly and open. What wording worked?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
