How much room is there after an offer? - any advice?

It is the first offer in 3 months and I do not want to mess it up. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did you negotiate?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
