How much room is there after an offer? - 2 months and counting

I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The benefits are decent.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
