How do I handle a long gap on my résumé? (Oklahoma City)

I took time out to care for a family member after working as a quality inspector. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am not sure how much to explain.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
