How do I handle a long gap on my résumé? - first time posting

I have been out of work for 2 months and worry about the gap. I worked as a call-centre agent before this. I am not sure how much to explain. What do you say in interviews?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
