How do I handle a long gap on my résumé? - any advice?

I took time out to care for a family member after working as an operations analyst. It has been a long 10 weeks. I am not sure how much to explain.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
