How do I ask for an informational chat? - any advice?

Sanjay Rasmussen · 2026-08-02T13:52:17.141Z

I sent 3 messages on a professional network and got two replies. I am in Portland, in case local advice matters. Some people reply with short answers. How do you phrase the request?

I asked what they wish they had known at my stage. People enjoy answering that.
