How do I ask for an informational chat? after 9 years as a medical assistant

A friend suggested informational chats and I do not know how to ask. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I worry about bothering people. Did any turn into leads?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
