How do I ask for an informational chat? after 16 years as a school bus driver

I sent 16 messages on a professional network and got two replies. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Some people reply with short answers. What did you ask?

Do not apologise for asking. Most people remember someone who helped them.
