How do I ask for an informational chat? - 2 months and counting

Diego Farrow · 2026-07-11T21:28:46.694Z

I sent 5 messages on a professional network and got two replies. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. I want advice, not a job directly. How do you phrase the request?

Do not apologise for asking. Most people remember someone who helped them.
