Going back after 7 months at home - what worked for you?

I stepped out for 7 months to care for a family member and now want to return. It has been a long 10 weeks. I am unsure how to describe the break. How did you get back in?

I began with part-time temp work, which helped me get back into the rhythm.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
