Going back after 6 months at home - any advice?

I stepped out for 6 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have been taking an online course. Are there returnship programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
