Going back after 6 months at home - 6 months and counting

I stepped out for 6 months to care for a family member and now want to return. It has been a long 7 weeks. I am unsure how to describe the break.

I began with part-time temp work, which helped me get back into the rhythm.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
