Going back after 2 months at home - any advice?

I stepped out for 2 months to care for a family member and now want to return. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I want flexible hours. How did you get back in?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
