Getting references after a company closes after 13 years as a mechanic

Kira Reyes · 2026-05-02T22:25:05.745Z

I worry a reference will only confirm dates of employment. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. HR only confirms titles and dates. Is a client acceptable?

I kept a note of my results so my references could be specific. They appreciated it.
