Getting references after a company closes - 3 weeks in

Chidi Moreno · 2026-05-29T16:00:31.976Z

The company closed and I am not sure how to reach former colleagues. Any experience at all would help. HR only confirms titles and dates. How do you ask politely?

I kept a note of my results so my references could be specific. They appreciated it.

A client reference worked well for me. It shows you deliver outside the company too.
