Explaining a gap after caregiving or layoff - 25 weeks in

I took time out to care for a family member after working as a project coordinator. Any experience at all would help. I am nervous about being filtered out. How did you handle it on your résumé?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
