Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 13 months as a pharmacy technician and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
