Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 18 months as a customer-service rep and I am unsure whether to accept. I have 6 months of savings left. What would you do?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
