Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - what worked for you?

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I would gain recent experience. What would you do?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
