Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 3 months as a customer-service rep and I am unsure whether to accept. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I would gain recent experience.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
