Contract work or permanent, which would you take? (update)

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. It has been weighing on me all week. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
