Contract work or permanent, which would you take? (update)

I got a contract offer for 4 months as a production planner and I am unsure whether to accept. I have 4 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
