Contract work or permanent, which would you take? (update)

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. Thank you in advance. I have 4 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
