Contract work or permanent, which would you take? (Tucson)

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. It has been a long 7 weeks. I have 14 months of savings left.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
