Contract work or permanent, which would you take? (Spokane)

I got a contract offer for 15 months as a janitorial supervisor and I am unsure whether to accept. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
