Contract work or permanent, which would you take?, software tester here

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I worked as a software tester before this. I have 5 months of savings left.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
