Contract work or permanent, which would you take?, paralegal here

I got a contract offer for 15 months as a paralegal and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend. What would you do?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
