Contract work or permanent, which would you take? (Memphis)

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I worked as a janitorial supervisor before this. I have 12 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
