Contract work or permanent, which would you take?, forklift operator here

I got a contract offer for 17 months as a forklift operator and I am unsure whether to accept. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
