Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - first time posting

I got a contract offer for 7 months as a dental hygienist and I am unsure whether to accept. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have 3 months of savings left.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
