Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - first time posting

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. It has been a long 5 weeks. I have 14 months of savings left. What would you do?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
