Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - first time posting

I got a contract offer for 14 months as an event coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. I am in Seattle, in case local advice matters. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
