Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - first time posting

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have 11 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
