Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - first time posting

I got a contract offer for 16 months as a project coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. It has been a long 13 weeks. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
