Contract work or permanent, which would you take?

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have 5 months of savings left.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
