Contract work or permanent, which would you take?

I got a contract offer for 15 months as an office manager and I am unsure whether to accept. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I would gain recent experience. How did you handle benefits?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
