Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - any advice?

I got a contract offer for 6 months as a project coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend. What would you do?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
