Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - any advice?

I got a contract offer for 7 months as a payroll clerk and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The contract could extend.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
