Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 9 years as an event coordinator

I got a contract offer for 9 months as an event coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. I would gain recent experience.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
