Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 8 years as a dental hygienist

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. Any experience at all would help. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
