Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 6 years as a marketing coordinator

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
