Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 4 years as a recruiter

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have 3 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
