Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 4 years as a nurse's aide

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. It has been weighing on me all week. I have 9 months of savings left.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
