Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 3 years as a hotel front-desk agent

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I have 6 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
