Contract work or permanent, which would you take? after 13 years as a logistics coordinator

I got a contract offer for 13 months as a logistics coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
