Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 9 months and counting

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I worked as an office manager before this. I would gain recent experience. What would you do?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
